1. Bioaccumulation & Bioamplification:
Bioaccumulation refers to the accumulation of substances (usually in the case of non-biodegradable insecticides) within an organism, or in a trophic level.
Bioamplification (or biomagnification) refers to the increase in concentration of a substance in a food chain. This is a result of bioaccumulation, where the substance then is passed on to the next link in the food chain when the consumer eats its prey. The higher the trophic level, the higher the concentration of the substance in most cases.
2. Note that for chlorophyll, it generally absorbs the highest for red and blue light (for the visible spectrum). Please refer to the given diagram below instead of the diagram given in your notes (which was taken from your textbook).
