For Qn 3,
you need to read from the graph the max value as well as the resting value.
The maximum level of blood sugar expressed as a multiple of the normal (resting) value is
138 (max value) / 92 (resting value) = 1.5

For question 4,
Extra insulin will be released when glucose level increases above normal value (92 in this case), whereas glucagon level increases when glucose level decreases below 92.
so C cannot be correct as at 1030 the curve is above 92, so it should be insulin not glucagon released. But at 1130, the curve is below 92, so glucagon is released.

For Question 12,
For every gram of carbohydrates that is completely burnt, about 16kJ of energy is released. for protein and fats, it is 17kJ/g and 38kJ/g respectively.
Carbohydrates is the easiest to metabolize as it is in the ready form for respiration.
Between fats and proteins, they both have to be converted to glucose first but fats are used first as 1g of fat will yield 38kj instead of just 17kg with 1g of protein.
Protein thus is the last choice in the human body.
